And the winner is…EVERYONE!
While this title must sound like a bad Hallmark card, I honestly feel this way. Over a five-year period, Best of Luck Comedies films Brunch Before Baptism and A Stand for Damaged Fame have won over 80 awards!
At the first film festival attended by Best of Luck Comedies, two cast members from Brunch Before Baptism won best-acting awards. It is true that words cannot describe what it feels like to gain recognition and receive awards for something you created, but the proud feeling I have when members of the cast and crew are recognized for their talents far exceeds that of winning awards of my own.
I remain humbled and elated to play even a small part in helping to showcase the incredibly talented people who have played major roles in both my projects and my life. My dreams, plans, and scripts wouldn’t be a reality without those who give of themselves working tirelessly in the pursuit of hilarity.
For every one of you who have supported me throughout the years - whether it’s by donating to a GoFundMe, purchasing and wearing merch, or simply liking the Best of Luck Comedies Facebook posts, I can’t adequately express how much I appreciate you all.
Please remember that regardless of your role in life, as long as you’re striving to make a difference in the beautiful and crazy world we live in… you’ve already won.
